Light armor, because running away might save my life and heavy armor will slow me down. Yes, I'm still underpowered, but slowly my character is getting stronger. I've been killed twice in 4 hours of gameplay at legendary, so it's certainly possible to play at legendary without dying. To be honest, anything higher than adapt really is not balanced. Shields made zero difference, blocking was not effective.Īll you can do is run from 1 city to another as fast as possible and given up totally on magic and bows because even when your ready for that rabbit, your still owned if your a mage or an archer. If you would have all dragons in Dragon City and maxed them out (impossible), you could always set up the best possible team – in reality, you won’t have that many dragons at that level that you can use for combat so it’s smart to have several dragons that you can fill in because they will work good most of the time.Originally posted by Giskard:I was playing on master difficulty from a new game yesterday and everything in the game, and Iĭo mean everything could kill me in 1 or 2 hits whilst I could barely scratch them.

I’ve written a full guide about that here. It’s really important that you don’t just throw in all your strongest dragons and hope for the best – it’s a lot more effective if you take a closer look to the parent (first) elements of each dragon your opponent has and choose a dragon that will be strong against that dragon, that will let you cycle through your dragons and take out his dragons a lot faster. You could also play it risky and set there and ice or water elemental dragon to hope for the first hit but I personally don’t like gambling here at all and use a pure dragon with high hitpoints to not have any bad surprises at the start and play by battle after the first move.

Only the first element determines strength and weaknesses, so you can ignore all other elements when it comes to weak/strong.
